How to Make It

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz 814 rye whiskey

  • 3/4 oz banana liqueur

  • 3/4 oz simple syrup

  • 1/2 oz heavy cream

  • 1 egg yolk

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker without ice and dry shake vigorously to fully emulsify the egg yolk.

  2. Add ice and shake again until well chilled and frothy.

  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Serve immediately and enjoy slowly — this is a cocktail meant to linger.
