Locally sourced, hand-crafted spirits

The 814 Distillery, the first legal distillery located in Blair County, PA, is located 1 mile off I-99 Exit 39 (Pinecroft Exit). The local area had a rich history in distilling prior to the Whiskey Rebellion. The Whiskey Rebellion took place not far from our location and resulted in the government taking control of and regulating distilled beverages in the United States. As a result, all distilling in Blair County ceased until our opening in 2024. Prior to the Whiskey Rebellion, the predominant distilled spirit produced in the area was rye whiskey since that was the most readily available grain for distilling at the time. We are continuing that tradition with our rye whiskey and supplementing this with whiskeys produced from other grains and combination of grains as well. All grains that we use are locally sourced. 

We also produce flavored and unflavored vodka and rums with seasonal flavors available dependent on the season. Premium vodka made from locally sourced potatoes will also be produced. Furthermore, brandies may be added in the future. Check back often to see the products that are currently available.
